Be Sun Safe on Vacation

"It's not just a beach thing!" A reminder from the American Cancer Society.

According to ACS, parents must take note that avoiding sunburn during childhood and adolescence is very important in reducing the risk of skin cancer later in life and sunscreen is not recommended for children less than six months old that is why we need to keep infants in the shade and protect them with clothing.

Slip! Slop! Slap!

  • Slip on shirt

  • Slop on sunscreen

  • Slap on hat.

  • Wrap on sunglasses

  • Limit sun exposure

Everyone is at risk for skin cancer, whatever thier skin color. Everyone needs to protect themselves from the sun.
